Konami published the first issue of the development diary of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater - remake of the third part of the cult series of stealth action games.

Here's What We Know

In the video the developers paid attention to the updated camouflage system and the process of wound healing.

Game designers said that in the remake camouflage will be an important part of the gameplay and will help the player to hide in different types of terrain. Fallen leaves, dirt, blood will stick to the clothes, they will tear, and after gunshot and knife wounds, rips will appear on the fabric in real time.

As for Snake's healing, after serious wounds, scars, abrasions, and marks will remain on his body, and they will be clearly visible to the player.

As technology has advanced significantly in the twenty years since the original game, in Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater the Siberian jungle (and this is not a mistake) will look much more realistic, rich and colourful, and the detail of the environment will reach a new level.

In the remake, players will be able to choose between the modern control system, inherent in popular stealth action games, and the classic one, which was not so convenient, but added complexity and complexity to the game. The same goes for the visuals: everyone will be able to activate the classic greenish filter to bring the look of the remake as close as possible to the original game.

In the next issue of Production Hotline, the developers will talk about cinematic scenes and gameplay nuances of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater.
