Apple may integrate Gemini and ChatGPT chatbots into the new iPhone
It is possible to integrate a new chatbot and expand the capabilities of artificial intelligence into the iPhone.
Here's What We Know
According to insider information, Apple may soon announce a new deal that will expand the capabilities of artificial intelligence on its devices. It is expected that the company will integrate Google's Gemini chatbot alongside the already announced ChatGPT from OpenAI this autumn.
Hints of a possible cooperation with Google were made by Apple's head of software Craig Federighi during the presentation of iOS 18, and now insiders predict an official announcement of the deal this autumn.
Apart from Gemini, insiders also mention a potential deal with Anthropic. Although Meta is likely not to cooperate with Apple due to the insufficient quality of their Llama chatbot.
According to insider information, Apple is considering offering some Apple Intelligence features only by subscription in the future. Although this monetisation model may not be relevant for the first version, which will be available only for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, it may become part of Apple's strategy in this area.
