In the US, Elden Ring became the most popular game on Steam at the end of June: on PlayStation and Xbox, the game entered the top ten

June can easily be called the month of Elden Ring. Thanks to the release of the Shadow of Erdtree expansion pack, FromSoftware's game became the most popular game on Steam Deck in June and broke into the top ten in the UK game sales chart. And now we've learned more about popular games among players in the United States.

Here's What We Know

Circana analyst Mat Piscatella shared a list of the most popular games in the US at the end of June. On PlayStation and Xbox, Call of Duty and Fortnite became the leaders, while Elden Ring on PS and Xbox took 8th and 10th place, respectively.

On Steam, the situation is quite different, where the game took the 1st place, followed by the timeless classics in the form of CS2 and Helldivers 2. Although the latter lost 90% of its audience on PC, it still remains popular.
