Samsung to collaborate with K-pop band TXT at Galaxy Unpacked event
For several years, Samsung has partnered with the popular K-pop group BTS to promote its flagship smartphones. However, in 2023, the boy band announced a hiatus, so it seems that Samsung has found a new partner in the K-pop world. The company hinted at a collaboration with TXT before the next Galaxy Unpacked event.
Here's What We Know
Samsung published a teaser video hinting at a collaboration with TXT, but in the description, it mistakenly identified the group's fan account instead of the official one. Therefore, it is likely that TXT members will take part in Galaxy Unpacked 2024, where the ringtone Over The Horizon created by them will be presented.
Official information about Samsung's cooperation with TXT and other details of the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event are expected on 10 July.
Samsung is expected to unveil several new Galaxy products at the event on 10 July, including:
- Galaxy Flip 6
- Galaxy Fold 6
- Galaxy Buds 3
- Galaxy Buds 3 Pro
- Galaxy Watch 7
- Galaxy Watch Ultra
Detailed specifications of the Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 were leaked a little earlier. Both phones are equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor and have a thinner body. The Galaxy Fold 6 is lighter than its predecessor, and the Galaxy Flip 6 has a larger battery while maintaining the size of the previous model. Both phones may have less noticeable creases on the screens and an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will receive significant design changes and sound quality improvements. The Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra will use the all-new 3nm Exynos W1000 chip with a quad-core processor, improved health and workout tracking, and longer battery life.
