Game Informer portal continues to publish interesting information about the RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
This time the material is devoted to weapons and armour.
Here's What We Know
The developers told journalists that the player character has slots for the following items: armour, helmet, belt, amulet, weapons (2 slots) and rings (2 slots).
In addition:
- each item has an effect on certain characteristics, for example, a belt increases the effectiveness of healing potions, and some of the belts even give temporary invulnerability;
- companion characters can change armour, rings, accessories and weapons;
- during character creation, you can see what high-level armour will look like for a hero of each class;
- also in the character editor you can see what clothes he will wear in peaceful locations and change them to your liking;
- BioWare developers have added a "robust" transmogrification system to Dragon Age: The Veilguard, allowing players to change the appearance of each piece of equipment, while retaining the characteristics of the worn item. The same option is available for the protagonist's companions, but in a somewhat limited form.
When We Can Expect It
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is expected to release in late 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
