Insider: Square Enix and Tencent will release a mobile version of the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV

The multiplayer role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV is becoming increasingly popular. For many years it was an exclusive for PlayStation and PC, and only a few months ago it became available on Xbox consoles.

It seems that Square Enix intends to further expand the audience of its game.

Kurakasis, a well-known insider and dataminer, reported that Square Enix and Chinese corporation Tencent are preparing a mobile version of MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV.

Kurakasis recalled that in 2018, both companies signed a cooperation agreement, which has not yet brought results. Perhaps the release of Final Fantasy XIV Mobile will be the first successful project.

It is not yet known whether it will be a game specifically created for mobile devices or whether the developers will adapt the version for PC and consoles.
