Samsung has released a new software update for its new most expensive A-line smartphone, the Galaxy A55. This is the first Samsung smartphone to receive the new security patch for July 2024.

The July security update for the Galaxy A55 is available in India and has build number A556EXXS4AXF63. There is no information on when the update will be available in other markets yet, but it is expected to arrive without significant delays.

The update includes the latest security patch that addresses 25 vulnerabilities found in Android and 33 vulnerabilities affecting only Galaxy devices. If the update doesn't arrive automatically, you can check for it by going to Settings → Software Update and select Download and Install.
