Dinosaur extinction is inevitable: Capcom has announced that support for the online action game Exoprimal will cease
A year ago, the release of Exoprimal, an online action game in which operators of combat robots (mechs) battle hordes of dinosaurs, took place.
Capcom hoped that Exoprimal would become a successful service game, but it immediately looked dubious, failed to attract gamers' attention and couldn't compare with other games by the Japanese developer.
The results of the first year were disappointing, but predictable: the action game failed to interest the general public and even failed to keep those players who were interested in fighting with dinosaurs.
Here's What We Know
Capcom announced that it will stop supporting Exoprimal. Season four will be the last season and will end on 11 July. After that, all four seasons will cycle and alternate starting on the first of each month.
Season passes for the first three chapters will also return to the sale, so everyone will be able to get the items they missed out on.
All of Exoprimal's functionality will remain available, there are no plans to take the game off the market yet either, but there will definitely be no new content.
Exoprimal is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, and is also available on Game Pass.
