Recently Capcom announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster - an updated version of the famous zombie action game from 2006.

Given that 2016 already released a remaster of this game, many gamers were interested in what changes Japanese developers will offer this time.

Here's What We Know

Thanks to the debut trailer, it became obvious that in the new re-release Dead Rising graphics will reach a qualitatively different level, and the detail of locations and characters is comparable to modern games.

Now the developers have published a short list, in which they listed the main improvements of Dead Rising:

  • resolution up to 4K at 60 FPS;
  • new save functionality;
  • modern control options;
  • improved NPC artificial intelligence;
  • additional photo opportunities;
  • updated user interface;
  • more dialogue;
  • voice acting in nine languages.

Such an impressive list of innovations is due to the fact that the game was transferred to the RE Engine, which is used to create modern parts of Resident Evil, Monster Hunter Wilds, Dragon's Dogma 2 and Street Fighter 6.

It should be noted that in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster the main character Frank West will be voiced by another actor.

When We Can Expect It

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be released on September 19th on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
