Samsung has decided to remove a popular set of buttons from NavStar
Samsung's NavStar app for Galaxy smartphones and tablets offers additional options for customising the navigation bar and gestures provided by One UI. This gives you more options to personalise your device.
Here's What We Know
One of these options lets you choose a differently designed set of buttons for the navigation bar. The current version of NavStar offers seventeen button sets, each with a different design.
However, recently, a user on the Samsung Community Forum for Korea noticed that the previous version of the app offered an additional set of buttons that disappeared in the new version.
The Good Lock forum moderator confirmed this information, adding that Samsung has no plans to bring back this set of buttons.
There is currently no official explanation from Samsung for the removal of this set of buttons. Some forum users have speculated that it was done for aesthetic reasons or that the buttons didn't fit the new One UI design.
While users are disappointed to see their favourite buttons disappear, Samsung may introduce new and better button sets in future NavStar updates.
