The new Honor Magic V3 and Vs3: what is known before the official release
Honor will unveil two new foldable smartphones - Honor Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 - in China on 12 July. While the brand has confirmed the design and colour options, the key specifications of the devices have not been revealed yet.
Here's What We Know
According to the latest leaks, the device will get an increased battery capacity of 5200 mAh, which is 200 mAh more than the previous model. Despite this, the manufacturer was able to reduce the thickness of the smartphone to 9.7 mm.
Magic V3 will be available in four colours: black, brown, white and green. The device features a metal frame for added durability and has an IPX8 protection rating. The smartphone's main camera includes a 50-megapixel sensor with support for optical image stabilisation. While information about the ultra-wide-angle lens remains vague, there are speculations of a periscopic telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
The Magic V3 also supports 66W fast charging and wireless charging. Inside, the device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and additional features such as a linear vibration motor and satellite support are also present. Not much is known about the Magic Vs3 yet, but it is speculated that it may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will be available in black, white and green colours.
