We wrote that the premiere of the Penguin series, which takes place after the Batman movie (2022), is scheduled for September 2024 on HBO Max. And now we have information about the day of the first episode.

Here's What We Know

In the Amazon press release about the animated series Batman: Caped Crusader mentions 6th & Idaho, a production company created by Matt Reeves, the director of the Batman film (2022) with Pattinson.

The company is involved in Caped Crusader, and in the section "About 6th & Idaho" in the press release, it is mentioned that 6th & Idaho is also working on the Penguin series. And it is at this point that it is stated that it will premiere on 19 September on HBO Max.

However, no one has officially announced the release on 19 September.

We would like to remind you that the Penguin is played by the unsurpassed Colin Farrell. The actor has already played the villain in Batman (2022).

The series will begin immediately after the end of Batman and will show how Oswald Cobblepot expands his influence on Gotham and becomes an even greater criminal authority in the city.

Penguin will have 8 episodes. Lauren LeFranc is the writer and showrunner. Matt Reeves, the director of Batman, is the executive producer.
