Fallout: London's ambitious fan mod will be released "very soon" - developers have secured support from GOG experts
The massive fan mod Fallout: London has been postponed several times. The last time was in April due to Bethesda releasing a major patch for Fallout 4, which broke the compatibility of this game with most mods.
The team of enthusiasts promised to release their project as soon as possible and it looks like it will happen in the near future.
Here's What We Know
The developers said that they have received technical support from the digital shop GOG, which has taken it upon itself to test the technical condition of Fallout: London, as well as its compatibility with various computers.
As soon as the testing is completed, the mod will be released into free access.
It is important to us all that this final testing process is complete. We are very grateful to GOG for their help.
It may seem like we're not doing much, but we assure you that the department heads are working tirelessly to make sure that the release build is as good as possible. The end is nigh.
So far it is known that Fallout: London will be available on GOG, but nothing is reported about Steam.
Recall, Fallout: London is based on Fallout 4 and will take players to the capital of Great Britain, which, like the United States, suffered greatly as a result of global nuclear war. The developers of the mod promise a full-fledged story, new factions, NPCs, weapons, creatures and much more.
