Redmi 13 5G: 120Hz display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE chip and 108 MP camera for $167

Xiaomi held an event in India where it announced the 5G version of the Redmi 13 smartphone.

Here's What We Know

The novelty received a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, brightness up to 550 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The smartphone runs the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition) processor with a maximum core clock speed of 2.3GHz and Adreno 613 graphics. The gadget comes with 6/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. If desired, the inbuilt storage can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB.

The Redmi 13 5G gets a 5030 mAh battery with 33W charging. Apart from this, the device has IP53 protection, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 108 MP + 2 MP main camera, a 13 MP front camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The gadget comes with Android 14 operating system and Hyper OS shell.

Sales of the Redmi 13 5G will start in India on 12 July. The novelty will be priced from $167.
