An insider has revealed design details of the upcoming Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro
Redmi is expected to unveil a new series of K80 smartphones in November, following the announcement of the Redmi Note 14 series in August or September this year. Before that time, some information about the upcoming new products has already emerged.
Here's What We Know
According to Smart Pikachu insider, the novelty will get design changes, including the use of glossy materials and composite glass, as well as the possible use of ceramics. It is expected that the camera module will be moved to the upper left corner of the device.
According to leaks from the IMEI database, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro models will have model numbers 24122RKC7C and 24127RK2CC respectively. Performance will be provided by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets for the base and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets for the Pro version. There is no information about the existence of the Redmi K80e model yet.
The Redmi K80 Pro is expected to sport a 2K display with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a 50MP main camera and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The battery, according to leaks, is 5,500mAh and supports 120W fast charging.
Details about the specifications of the Redmi K80 are yet to be revealed. It is also expected that the K80 and K80 Pro could launch globally under the Poco F7 and F7 Pro brand in 2025.
