New Korean shooter The First Descendant has become the most profitable game of the week on Steam, beating Counter-Strike 2 and Elden Ring
Here is the weekly sales chart of the Steam digital shop.
Here's What We Know
This time it makes sense to start with free-to-play games, because this is the category where there was a small sensation: the permanent leader Counter-Strike 2 lost its position to the new online shooter The First Descendant, which, despite all the criticism, enjoys huge attention of gamers. The game from Nexon studio has been one of the most anticipated releases on Steam for a long time and so far it fully justifies this status.
As for paid items, the situation hasn't changed much since last week: the first place is occupied by Elden Ring, and the fourth place is occupied by Shadow of the Erdtree add-on. The top three include Steam Deck handheld console and Baldur's Gate 3 RPG.
Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 4, RDR 2 and GTA V are again selling well thanks to heavy discounts.
The full list of the ten most profitable Steam items from 2 July to 9 July looks like this:
- Elden Ring
- Steam Deck
- Baldur's Gate 3
- Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
- Chained Together
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Forza Horizon 4
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Grand Theft Auto V
- EA Sports FC 24
Let us remind you that until the evening of 11 July Steam is running a grand Summer Sale. Discounts are valid even on the most current novelties.
