Creative Assembly studio has revealed the details and release date of the final update for the historical strategy Total War: Pharaoh.

Here's What We Know

Dynasties is a massive free update the size of a traditional paid addon. In it, the developers will add the ability to play as Troy, Babylon and other sides, the regions of the Aegean and Mesopotamia, new units and more.

Dynasties will be released as a separate add-on edition of Total War: Pharaoh, which will be available to all purchasers of the base game. It will launch separately and is incompatible with modifications for the original game.

There will be no crossplay or cross-progression between Pharaoh and Dynasties, essentially giving players two games in their library.

Dynasties will be the last content update of Total War: Pharaoh, after that Creative Assembly developers will continue to improve the technical state of the game and fix bugs, but there will be no new content, because "the game designers have worked their butts off".

We are very proud of what the team has done as a love letter to everyone who has stayed with us. We hope that when Dynasties is released, the game will feel like a full and complete part of the Bronze Age Total War we envisioned back in the beginning.
