Aqara has introduced Smart Lock U200, which can be opened with iPhone and Apple Watch

We are talking about a door lock. The device is called Aqara Smart Lock U200. The model is compatible with the Matter protocol, and also supports HomeKit. In addition, the novelty has a function Matter-over-Thread, which allows you to use NFC in iPhone and Apple Watch to open the lock. The digital key will be stored in the Wallet app. The door will also open with a physical key, NFC card, PIN and fingerprint scanner.
Users can remotely check if the lock is open and also receive an alarm if the door is being tampered with. The Aqara Smart Lock U200 is also capable of automatically locking the lock when the door is closed. The lock is powered by inbuilt rechargeable batteries. The claimed battery life is up to 6 months. As for the remote control, it runs on AAA batteries or a wired connection.
