Immortality subscription doesn't save you from a maniac: extensive gameplay footage of promising thriller Nobody Wants to Die has been unveiled
IGN portal has published an exclusive 10-minute gameplay video of the ambitious detective game Nobody Wants to Die.
Here's What We Know
Let's remind, Nobody Wants to Die is a thriller game set in the far future, the events of which unfold in 2329 in New York. The plot of the game will tell about the world in which humanity has learnt to transfer the consciousness of people after their death in another body, but this service is available only to those who constantly pay for a subscription. A serial killer appears in the city, who preys on the elite of New York, and to find him will try to detective James Karra and his partner Sara Kai.
The player will be provided with a huge number of high-tech gadgets, the main of which will be a glove that allows, figuratively speaking, to go back in time and find out what happened in a particular place.
Gamers will have to scrutinise crime scenes, communicate with witnesses and suspects, compare evidence and listen to Sarah's advice.
Nobody Wants to Die looks extremely atmospheric and technological and may become one of the hits of the summer, and the aesthetics of refined retro-futurism only adds to the game's charm.
When We Can Expect It
Nobody Wants to Die will release on 17 July on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
