Apple AirPods Max competitor: Edifier unveils Stax Spirit S5 Hi-Fi headphones with aptX Lossless support and up to 80 hours of battery life

Edifier has announced new flagship wireless headphones.

The model is called Edifier Stax Spirit S5. The novelty has received Hi-Res certification and support for aptX Lossless, Sony LDAC, LHDC and aptX HD codecs. The headphones are powered by a Qualcomm QCC5181 chip paired with Bluetooth 5.4. The device features noise cancelling mode, Google Fast Pair for quick pairing with Android smartphones, and the ability to connect to multiple gadgets simultaneously.

The novelty comes with a USB-C port and a 3.5mm output. According to the manufacturer, the headphones will last up to 80 hours on a single charge.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Edifier Stax Spirit S52 is already available for $499.99. The model competes with Apple AirPods Max and other headphones in this segment.
