Metal Gear Solid, Portal and The Matrix in one game: the ambitious shooter Black State, which amazes with the quality of graphics and the scale of ideas, has been announced

Turkish studio Motion Blur announced a remarkable game Black State, which looks so interesting and technological that it raises doubts whether the trailer reflects the real qualities of the game. We remember the recent announcement of the equally ambitious game Alkahest, after which it turned out that the game footage was subjected to serious post-processing.

Here's What We Know

Black State is a single-player story-driven sci-fi shooter, which in terms of gameplay reminds of Metal Gear Solid series, and stylistically and conceptually evokes associations with Portal. There is a place in the game for endless rooms with doors, as in "Matrix": passing through them, the main character instantly gets to places that are not connected in any way to each other

This is how the developers describe the plot of Black State:

A secret group of scientists known as the Architects have summoned you for a mysterious mission. Your task is to rescue the hostages and discover the truth behind the cataclysm. Behind every door lurks new and unexpected places. Are you ready to open them and face the unknown?

Motion Blur promises a "rich, mysterious and emotional story", photorealistic graphics created through some "complex and lengthy research" and "incredible optimisation".

Black State will offer a huge selection of weapons and gadgets, a variety of challenging enemies and over a hundred kill animations.

When We Can Expect It

The developers do not give a release date for Black State. So far it is stated that the game will be released on Steam and EGS.
