The streets will know his name: HBO reveals new poster for Penguin series, showing nighttime Gotham in the rain
In September, the premiere of the Penguin series, which takes place after the Batman film (2022. There's not much time left before the first episode airs, so the creators are showing more and more promotional materials.
Here's What We Know
HBO showed another poster of the series. It depicts Penguin in Gotham at night under a downpour with an umbrella, standing outside his club Iceberg Lounge. The poster is accompanied by the phrase "The streets will know his name".
It also became known that there will be a separate stand with the series at San Diego Comic-Con on 26-27 July, where we may learn even more information about the show.
We would like to remind you that Penguin is played by the unsurpassed Colin Farrell. The actor has already played the villain in Batman (2022).
The series will begin immediately after the end of Batman and will show how Oswald Cobblepot expands his influence on Gotham and becomes an even greater criminal authority in the city.
Penguin will have 8 episodes. Lauren LeFranc is the writer and showrunner. Matt Reeves, the director of Batman, is the executive producer.
