This is evidenced by the data from the state registers of Ukraine (USR) and the Czech Republic, where the company has its offices, IT News reports.
GSC Game World is known for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. shooter series and the Cossacks historical strategy game. To develop these and other projects, the company needed new investments, so it decided to raise funds from the outside.

According to the latest registration data, the Cypriot company GSC GAME WORLD GLOBAL LTD is listed as the founder of the Ukrainian legal entity GSC UKRAINE LLC, with Maxim Krippa as the ultimate beneficiary.
According to GSC Game World community manager Maxim Tkachenko, the change of ownership will not lead to significant changes in the company's operations. Going forward, Maxim Krippa, who has been working with the company for two years, will support the planned strategies. In particular, the investment allowed the company to resume work on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, which was postponed several times due to financial difficulties.
