OnePlus Nord 4 will get 6 years of manufacturer support

OnePlus has announced that their new Nord 4 smartphone will receive OS updates for 4 years and security patches for 6 years. This is the longest software support period among all the brand's devices. Even the OnePlus 12 flagship doesn't have such a long support.

Here's What We Know

The Nord 4 is certified by TUV Rheinland for uninterrupted operation for 6 years and has undergone 3-stage testing to prove its durability. The device's battery is rated for 1,600 full charge cycles, ensuring its performance for years to come.

Longer support is only available for Samsung and Google Pixel flagships - 7 years of updates. Other brands like OPPO, Realme, Vivo, Redmi and POCO, however, provide a maximum of 5 years of support. Therefore, the Nord 4's support is by far one of the longest among most manufacturers.

The OnePlus Nord 4 will be unveiled at the OnePlus Summer Launch event in India on 16 July.
