Fallout: London fan mod will be incompatible with the Nextgen patch for Fallout 4 - gamers will have to revert to the previous version of the game
Afew days ago, the developers of a large-scale fan modification Fallout: London for Fallout 4 reported that the work on it is close to completion and at the moment its performance is being tested by specialists of the digital shop GOG. As soon as the testing is completed, the mod will be in free access.
Fallout London was supposed to be released in April, but because Bethesda released a major patch for Fallout 4, which broke the compatibility of the game with most mods, its release was once again postponed.
Here's What We Know
Team Folon reported that they were not able to "friend" Fallout London with the nekstgen patch for Fallout 4, so everyone who wants to pass the modification will have to go back to the last version of the game from Bethesda. To do this, the modification will come with a special downgrade that will help get rid of the non-extgen update for Fallout 4.
Team Folon does not exclude that in the future they will be able to establish correct operation of their project on the basis of the current version of Fallout 4, but so far they are not ready to name specific dates when it may happen.
Recall, Fallout: London will take players to the capital of Great Britain, which, like the U.S., suffered greatly as a result of global nuclear war. The developers of the mod promise a full-fledged story, new factions, NPCs, weapons, creatures and much more.
Fallout London will be available to install only on GOG.
