Mysterious tower, shotgun and interface - the first screenshot of BioShock 4 has appeared online
For years now, Cloud Chamber Studios has been working on a new instalment of BioShock. Production has been so delayed that insiders have repeatedly reported that the project is on the verge of cancellation and its development is barely progressing.
However, Cloud Chambe recently opened up vacancies for thirty important positions, including a senior writer, a narrative designer, level designers and several producers - this news has given optimism to those who still hope to see a BioShock sequel someday.
The fact that the game is being developed is also indicated by a screenshot that appeared online.
Here's What We Know
MP1ST published a screenshot of BioShock 4, which was allegedly shared by an anonymous visual effects artist from 2K.
It shows a certain glowing tower, Ricochet Shotgun weapon - such modification was available in the past parts of the game and the interface, which looks clearly unfinished. Note that the portal MP1ST states that the screenshot was made in an early demo of 2021, so at the moment the specified elements may look different.
It is noteworthy that the screenshot shows the working title Parkside, which was mentioned back in 2019 by respected journalist and insider Jason Schreier.
Of course, it's impossible to draw far-reaching conclusions about the game from such a screenshot, but the fact that news about BioShock 4 has started to appear online can't help but please fans.
