Samsung Galaxy Flip 6 supports artificial intelligence wallpapers on both screens, unlike the Flip 5
Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Flip 6 with the updated One UI 6.1.1 shell, which includes a host of new features aimed at foldable smartphones. One of the key new features is support for generative wallpapers on the external screen.
Here's What We Know
Unlike the previous model, the Galaxy Flip 6 lets you set different wallpapers on the inner and outer screens, including both AI-generated and regular wallpapers. Users can create their AI-generated wallpapers for the outer screen through the settings menu. For the Galaxy Flip 5, AI wallpapers can only be set on the inner screen at the moment.
It is learnt that the One UI 6.1.1.1 update will also bring support for generative wallpapers on the external screen for the Galaxy Flip 5 as well. In addition, the new version of the shell improves existing Galaxy AI-related features such as image editing, content translation, QR code scanning and maths problem solving. The Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 were officially announced on 10 July and will go on sale from 24 July 2024.
