Exynos 2500 could surpass Apple's A15 in power efficiency
According to recent reports, Samsung's Exynos 2500 processor could surpass Apple's A15 in terms of power efficiency. Technoblogger @MappleGold at X revealed new details about the upcoming Exynos flagship processor.
Here's What We Know
It is reported that the Exynos 2500 will be used not only in the Galaxy S25 smartphones, but also in the Galaxy Book series of laptops. The new information indicates the presence of different configurations of cores: 1+2+3+4, 2+2+2+2+4 and 1+4+5. This is due to Samsung's plans to use this chip in both phones and laptops that require more power.
Earlier leaks indicated that the Exynos 2500 could have ARM Cortex-X5 as its main core, the same core expected in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Although the Apple A15 was introduced three years ago, the achievement of the Exynos 2500 is a significant advancement for Exynos processors.
Samsung also introduced a 5-core Exynos W100 chip in the Galaxy Watch Ultra this year, showing a significant performance improvement over previous 2-core chips.
