Red Magic 9S Pro with overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip has made its global market debut

nubia has announced the release of its new Red Magic 9S Pro gaming smartphone outside of China.

Here's What We Know

The main difference between the Red Magic 9S Pro and the Red Magic 9 Pro is the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The SoC runs at a maximum clock speed of 3.4GHz. Apart from this, the Red Magic 9S Pro has an improved cooling system. It features a vapour chamber, a special gel that reduces thermal resistance, and a fan. It works with a rotation speed of 22,000 rpm. The manufacturer claims that the new cooling system can reduce the chip temperature to 19.5°C.

Other specs of the smartphone include a 6.8-inch 120Hz BOE Q9+ OLED display, 6,500mAh battery with 80W charging, 50 MP + 50 MP main camera, 16 MP sub-screen front camera, Wi-Fi 7, USB-C 3.2 port, up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB ROM.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Sales of the Red Magic 9S Pro will start on 23 July. The novelty will be priced from $649/€649/£579. The first buyers will be able to get a coupon with a discount of $30/€30/£30.
