Here's a list of the main features that will be available in the One UI 6.1.1 update

Along with the Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6, Samsung has announced the One UI 6.1.1 update, which brings a host of new features for the new foldable devices, as well as for previous flagships that will also get new software soon.

Here's What We Know

According to the latest information, the One UI 6.1.1 update will soon be received by the Galaxy S22/23/24, Galaxy Fold and Flip 4th and 5th generation smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Tab S8 and S9 series tablets. The new features will mainly focus on the camera and artificial intelligence. Some of the new features will only be available to foldable devices, while some will get all of the aforementioned devices. So, here are the features that will be available in One UI 6.1.1:

  • Auto Zoom: The auto zoom feature in Galaxy Flip 6, which automatically zooms in when recording in Flex Camera mode, will be available for Galaxy Flip 5. This feature makes it easier to capture high-quality videos hands-free.
  • Flex Camera Mode: This mode optimises video recording when the phone is folded. It will also be released for the Galaxy Flip 5, allowing for better video capture when folded.
  • Instant Slow-Mo Sharing: It is now possible to instantly share slow-motion videos without saving them as separate files. This feature will be available for the Galaxy Fold 5, Flip 5, Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
  • Portrait Studio: Enhances portrait photos with AI correction. (All models).
  • Sketch to Image: Converts sketches into detailed images. (All models)
  • Live Effect: Adds dynamic effects to photos. (All models)
  • Motion Clipper: Allows you to create GIFs from moving photos, making it easy to share animated content. (All models)
  • Raw Editor: Supports DNG editing in Galaxy Photo Editor, allowing detailed editing of RAW images. This feature will not be available for the Galaxy S23 FE.

Samsung has not yet announced an exact release date for the One UI 6.1.1 update for the above-mentioned devices, but users can expect it most likely as early as next month.
