Epic Games Store users won't be able to complete the Fallout: London fan mod
Last week the developers of a large-scale fan mod Fallout: London reported that it will be incompatible with the nextgen patch for Fallout 4 and to pass it gamers will have to return to the previous version of the game. Especially for this purpose, a special downgrader will be installed with the modification, which will help to get rid of a major update for Fallout 4.
However, it turned out that there is another technical limitation.
Here's What We Know
Team Folon informed that at the release Fallout London will not work with the version of Fallout 4, which is sold in the Epic Games Store, so for some time the mod will be available only to those who have the game purchased from GOG and Steam. This is precisely because of the need to remove the nextgen patch in Fallout 4, and EGS does not have such an option.
It is not yet clear how the developers can get around this obstacle, but they hope that they will be able to establish the modification work with the version of the game in EGS.
Recall, Fallout: London will take players to the capital of Great Britain, which, like the U.S., suffered greatly as a result of global nuclear war. The developers of the mod promise a full-fledged story, new factions, NPCs, weapons, creatures and much more.
Fallout: London is expected to be released soon.
