A mystery from Rockstar Games: the GTA+ subscription may be coming to Nintendo Switch. But why would it be needed without GTA Online?

Rockstar Games continues to try to popularise its paid GTA+ service.

It is available only on PS5 and Xbox Series and initially offered only in-game bonuses in GTA Online. However, since recently its subscribers are offered access to the collection of GTA: The Trilogy, L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption, and by the end of the year they will be joined by Bully - an action game about the difficult life of a school bully.

Here's What We Know

Rockstar Games has slightly updated the information on the official website and now there is a mention that the GTA+ service will be available for Nintendo Switch users.

This is surprising, as GTA Online, for which people subscribe to GTA+, is not available on Nintendo Switch, so we can conclude that either the website has incorrect information (which is hard to believe) or GTA Online will finally be released on Japanese handheld consoles (which is also questionable).

However, if GTA V/Online never gets released on Switch, it becomes unclear: why would people sign up for GTA+?
