The developer of the acclaimed medieval strategy game Manor Lords continues to actively improve its game, which is in Early Access.

Here's What We Know

Grzegorz Styczeń, known under the nickname Slavic Magic, has published a screenshot that is important for the game. The developer showed how the pond will look like, which will appear in the game with the next major update. The pond has gameplay value - in it, villagers will harvest fish for sustenance and sale.

However, the image also shows how the graphics quality in Manor Lords will increase in the near future. The developer explained that the next update will transfer the game to Unreal Engine 5, which will improve not only the quality of images and visual effects, but also optimisation, which will have a positive impact on the overall performance and stability of the game.

The release date of the update is unknown, but Styceni hopes that it won't take too long to work on it.

The developer admits that there are still a few nasty bugs in the game after the last update, but he has decided that the first priority is to port the game to a modern engine. Once the process is complete, he promises to fix the aforementioned issues, including reducing the number of annoying deer. Plus, the use of Unreal Engine 5 will allow the game to release faster on consoles.

The game is in early access on Steam, EGS and GOG, and is also available on Game Pass.
