Developers from Larian Studios have revealed important information about the major seventh patch for the ultra-popular RPG Baldur's Gate III.

Here's What We Know

Belgian game designers announced the start of registration for closed beta testing of the update. In Steam you can already apply for the event, which will be held on 22 July. Participants will be determined in random order.

During the beta testing, players will try out all the innovations of the patch and report to the developers about the discovered problems.

Larian Studios promises to improve almost all elements of Baldur's Gate III: the game will fix bugs, eliminate minor flaws, add additional staged scenes for some characters. But the main innovation will be a full-fledged editor of custom modifications, thanks to which players will be able to create entire stories on their own.

Larian emphasises that after the seventh patch the support for Baldur's Gate 3 will not stop, and in the future players will be able to enjoy a lot of desirable innovations, such as crossplay between all platforms and interface improvements.
