Apart from the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Norway, one more European country may transfer F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets to Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

It is about Greece. This was reported by a source of Al Jazeera agency. Greece plans to decommission 32 F-16 Block-30 aircraft. Most likely, after that they will be sent for modernisation in the United States, and then transferred to the Ukrainian army.

It is noted that Greece plans to modernise its current F-16 fighters to the Block-70 modification, as well as to purchase 24 Dassault Rafale aircraft from France. In addition, a US Congressional committee authorised Athens to buy up to 40 F-35 fifth-generation fighter jets.

Unfortunately, Greece has not yet officially commented on the delivery of F-16s to Ukraine.

By the way, Ukraine has now been promised a total of 80 aircraft: 6 will be delivered by Norway, 19 by Denmark, 25 by the Netherlands and 30 by Belgium. The first deliveries should begin this summer.
