New artificial intelligence from Tinder will select the most attractive photos

Tinder is looking to solve the long-standing problem of choosing the best profile pictures. Since August last year, Tinder has been testing a new feature called Photo Selector, which uses artificial intelligence to automatically select a user's most attractive photos. Now, this option is ready for widespread use.

Photo Selector works by analysing all the photos on the owner's smartphone, using artificial intelligence algorithms to select images that are most likely to get the desired "swipe right". This is an improved version of the existing Smart Photos feature.

To get started, you need to take a selfie and give the system access to the photo. Artificial intelligence uses this selfie to search for other photos and offers a selection of the best images. The final choice is up to the user, and then they can hope for successful dating.

Photo Selector will become available to users in the US at the end of this month, with a global launch planned for later this summer.
