More and more companies are announcing their participation in the largest European exhibition gamescom 2024, which is just over a month away.

We would like to remind you that such giants of the gaming industry as Ubisoft, Plaion, Square Enix, THQ Nordic, Capcom, Blizzard, Xbox, and possibly Yusef Fares (author of It Takes Two and A Way Out) will present his new game in Cologne.

NetEase has also joined this impressive list.

Here's What We Know

The Chinese publisher did not intrigue and announced that at its stand visitors will be able not only to talk to famous developers Goichi Suda and Mikami Shinji, but also to get acquainted with four games.

They will be:

  • Fragpunk - an online shooter with 5v5 battles;
  • Marvel Rivals - an online action game with the heroes of the Marvel universe;
  • Once Human - a popular survival simulator, which was released on Steam a few days ago;
  • Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered - an updated version of the original shooter, which was once released by Goichi Sudou and Shinji Mikami.

In addition, NetEase promises to unveil two unannounced games. We don't know yet what the Chinese will show at the opening ceremony of gamescom 2024, but as a reminder, NetEase is sponsoring Dawnwalker: Origins, a role-playing game being developed by Rebel Wolves, a young Polish studio founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the head of development of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and one of the key developers of Cyberpunk 2077. He was joined by many of his colleagues from CD Projekt RED, including his brother Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, who was the quest director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and was personally responsible for many storylines of the cult RPG, as well as being the quest director of Cyberpunk 2077.

It is likely that Dawnwalker: Origins will be presented at gamescom 2024.

The exhibition will take place from 21 to 25 August in Cologne.
