Shipments of Huawei Pura 70 series smartphones increased by 125 per cent over the previous P60 range
Huawei launched the Pura 70 series in April this year with the new Kirin chipset and judging by the latest data, the new range is selling quite well.

It is learnt that the shipments of this series have increased by 125% compared to the P60 series. According to a report by research firm TechInsights, Mate 60 Pro shipments in China totalled 6.2 million units in the five months after release. Pura 70 series shipments are projected to exceed 10 million units in 2024.
The Pura 70 series includes 4 models for the Chinese market, the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+ and Pura 70 Ultra, while there is no Pura 70 Pro+ model for global sales. The base model is equipped with Kirin 9000S1 chip, while the other models are equipped with Kirin 9010 chip. The screen of the base model has a diagonal of 6.6 inches, while the other models have 6.8 inches. All screens are LTPO OLED and with a maximum brightness of up to 2500 nits.
Also, all models have variable aperture cameras with optical stabilisation, as well as an aluminium frame and IP68 dust and water protection. The Ultra model features a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a retractable lens.
