Contract worth €100 million: Germany buys 70 mm unguided rockets for Eurocopter Tiger UHT/KHT helicopters from Rheinmetall

The German Defence Ministry has placed an order for the purchase of 70mm unguided rockets for attack helicopters.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the press service of Rheinmetall, which will fulfil the order together with the Belgian subsidiary FZ Thales Group. The contract is designed for 100 million euros.

There is no information yet on how many missiles the German army will receive. It is only known that a test batch of missiles will be delivered this year. Serial production will begin in the period from 2025 to 2029. By the way, Germany will use 70 mm missiles with Eurocopter Tiger UHT/KHT attack helicopters.
