The release of the unusual detective game Nobody Wants to Die from Polish studio Critical Hit Games took place on all platforms.

From the first trailer the game attracted attention with its refined aesthetics of retro-futurism with cyberpunk elements and interesting setting, in which people are offered a paid subscription to immortality in the distant future.

It seems that promotional materials didn't deceive and Nobody Wants to Die really deserves attention.

Here's What We Know

Gamers warmly welcomed Nobody Wants to Die. Obviously, the game won't be a sales hit, but it's getting great reviews. Steam users left 87% positive reviews, they praise the game's atmosphere, interesting story, great graphics, well-written dialogues, interesting detective elements and other aspects of Nobody Wants to Die. Some gamers have minor technical problems, but they are not critical and will be fixed in the nearest patches.

As the only drawback some gamers call the short game duration - only about 5 hours. However, this claim is subjective, besides, it is extremely important for such a project not to be dragged out. And, by the way, the cost of the game justifies the duration - it is sold for only $25, which is much cheaper than modern novelties. By the way, Nobody Wants to Die is currently enjoying a 10% discount on Steam.

To summarise: Nobody Wants to Die is a great game for those who value aesthetics, story and their own time.

Nobody Wants to Die is available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
