Google has released Android 15 beta 4 for Pixel devices. This is the second release of the platform to ensure stability, marking the completion of API and other changes.

Here's What We Know

Beta 4 doesn't have any new features as it focuses on stability. However, an important update is that Android 15 will stop supporting the legacy PNG-based emoji font file. Some devices will only have a vector emoji file.

Developers can now publish their updated or new apps on Google Play that are targeted for Android 15.

Although beta 4 should be more stable than previous versions, it is still recommended not to install it on your main device.

The final version of Android 15 is expected to be released in August along with the Pixel 9 series.
