Sony's plans haven't changed: a well-known insider is confident that the PlayStation 5 Pro console will be released in late 2024
Insider Tom Henderson has long predicted that sales of the intermediate-generation PlayStation 5 Pro console will start in November 2024.
Sony has not even announced the new device yet and has not confirmed the fact that they are working on it, but Henderson has no reason to believe that his information will turn out to be false.
Here's What We Know
Tom Henderson emphasised that almost all the information he published about the PlayStation 5 Pro was based on internal Sony documentation that he had access to, and at the moment there is not a single mention of a possible postponement of the new console.
The journalist knows that many of his colleagues doubt the release of a new PlayStation console in 2024, as Sony will have nothing to interest customers in purchasing the PS5 Pro due to the lack of new games. That's why in one of his tweets he used the wording "if it comes out this year", but Henderson himself does not yet see the prerequisites for a change of plans of the Japanese manufacturer.
Recall, earlier Tom Henderson published detailed technical specifications of the PlayStation 5 Pro.
