Samsung has been producing Galaxy Quantum smartphones in South Korea for the past four years. These smartphones are more secure versions of the company's existing upper mid-range models. This year, the Galaxy Quantum 5 is expected to be released, based on the Galaxy A55.

Technical Characteristics

Expected specifications of Galaxy Quantum 5:

  • 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity O screen
  • Exynos 1480 processor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 128 GB of storage
  • 32-megapixel front camera
  • 5000 mAh battery
  • Quantum security chip
  • Android 14

The Galaxy Quantum 5 will be significantly more powerful than its predecessor thanks to the Exynos 1480 processor. The phone is expected to have the same dimensions and weight (161.1 × 77.4 × 8.2 mm and 213 g) as the Galaxy A55. It will run on Android 14. The Galaxy Quantum 5 received radio certification on 8 May this year and is likely to be unveiled in August or September.
