Apple Music Classical, Apple's dedicated app for classical music fans, has announced the launch of a new Top 100 chart. The chart will showcase the 100 most popular classical albums using data from a variety of sources, even outside the app itself, and will be updated weekly.

Here's What We Know

The Top 100 chart is already available in Apple Music Classical. When Apple Music Classical first appeared, the company promised that this was just the beginning for classical music fans. That was more than a year ago.

The Top 100 chart will be updated every Monday with the latest data. One of the features of the chart is that it uses a wide range of data that goes beyond the listening activity in Apple Music Classical itself.

Recently, Apple Music ran a similar campaign called "Top 100", where it calculated the 100 best albums of all time. However, this campaign was more of a marketing campaign than a permanent feature of the Music app.
