It's official: the Nio Phone 2 will make its debut on 27 July

Chinese electric car manufacturer Nio entered the smartphone market last year, and now it has announced the release of a new generation of the device.

The novelty will be called Nio Phone 2. According to the brand's invitation, the gadget will be shown at the Nio Innovation Day event, which will be held in Shanghai this Saturday, 27 July.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not revealed any details about the device. But we can assume that the gadget will get the same design as the original Nio Phone model. At the same time, the smartphone will have AI features, as well as updated specifications. For example, the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor (instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) and a battery of more than 5200 mAh with support for wired and wireless charging.

The Nio Phone 2 will likely cost around $1000 in China.
