Google is preparing to release the successor to Chromecast with Google TV (4K), here's what the new product will look like

Google will soon unveil the next generation Chromecast with Google TV (4K) media player.

Here's What We Know

This was revealed by our colleagues from 9to5Google. The novelty will be rebranded and will come to the market with the name Google TV Streamer and a completely updated design. The device will not have to hang on the back of the TV. Instead, the gadget will stand next to the TV like Apple TV 4K.

The novelty will get a design in the style of a wireless charging dock. The renders show two cables coming from the device. The gadget will come with an updated remote control. Unfortunately, there are no detailed specs of the Google TV Streamer yet.

When We Can Expect It

Most likely, the release of the novelty will take place along with the Pixel 9 line of smartphones and other gadgets of the company on 13 August.
