Samsung is focusing on developing a completely different smartphone focused on artificial intelligence

Samsung is working on new artificial intelligence-focused smartphones that could be significantly different from existing models.

Samsung MX head TM Roh said in a new interview that much of the company's research and development is focused on so-called AI phones. While Roh didn't reveal details, he said the new devices will be more "mobile," which doesn't necessarily mean smaller. They could have larger screens and more sensors.

Samsung will also integrate Galaxy AI features into its wearable devices, such as smart watches and wireless headphones. In the future, perhaps phones with large screens will become unnecessary as accessories will be able to perform many tasks. Samsung is also reportedly planning to release an improved version of Bixby based on a large language model by the end of the year.
