Huawei Mate 70 launch delayed until the end of the year

Last year, Huawei surprised everyone by releasing the Mate 60 Pro with 7nm Kirin 9000s chipset and 5G support despite sanctions. This year it is expected to continue the series - the announcement of Huawei Mate 70. Except that according to the latest information, the release of the novelty will be postponed until the end of the year.

Here's What We Know

According to information from Chinese insider DigitalChatStation, the launch of the Huawei Mate 70 series of smartphones has been postponed and is now expected in China in the middle of the fourth quarter of this year. Previously, the novelty was expected to be released in October.

The new Mate 70 will reportedly feature a more powerful Kirin 9100 chipset, a 1.5K LTPO OLED display with 3D face scanning and a main camera with an OmniVision OV50K sensor that will have a variable aperture. The Mate 70 series devices are also expected to be equipped with larger silicon batteries, offering a capacity of over 5,000mAh.
