vivo V40 SE 4G: 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP dual camera and 80W charging for $215

The company vivo unexpectedly announced in Europe a new smartphone V-series.

Here's What We Know

The novelty was named vivo V40 SE 4G. The gadget received a body with dimensions of 163.17×75.81×7.79 mm and a weight of 186 grams. The manufacturer has equipped the smartphone with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits peak brightness. The display comes with an inbuilt fingerprint scanner.

The vivo V40 SE 4G is powered by a Snapdragon 685 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The inbuilt memory can be expanded with a microSD card if desired. The novelty is powered by a 5000 mAh battery The smartphone supports wired charging with up to 80 watts of power.

As for the cameras, there are three of them in the device: dual main 50 MP + 8 MP and single frontal 8 MP. The novelty comes with Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C port and IP54 protection. Out of the box, the gadget runs Android 14 with FunTouch OS 14 interface.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The vivo V40 SE 4G can already be bought in the Czech Republic for $215 (about €196).
