Insider reveals new details about Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the smartphone will be similar to OnePlus Open

Details about Google's new Pixel 9 Pro Fold foldable smartphone, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, continue to emerge on the internet.

Here's What We Know

This time our colleagues from Android Authority told about the screens of the novelty. According to the leak, Google has decided to abandon the unique wide form factor of the original Pixel Fold in favour of a more traditional approach.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will get more standard parameters and will be similar to the OnePlus Open. The main screen will feature an 8-inch AMOLED matrix with 2152×2076p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits peak brightness. The outer panel will get the same matrix but with a 6.24-inch diagonal.

As for other specs, they should include a Tensor G4 chip, a battery of up to 5,000mAh and five cameras.

When We Can Expect It

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will debut alongside the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL at the launch event on 13 August.
